To integrate with ShipStation, go to the Integrations section of your Admin console.
In the integrations page, click “Configure” in the ShipStation card.
Once you are on the ShipStation configuration page, enter the API key🗝️ and API Secret.
You can get the API key and Secret from your ShipStation Account, from the Settings >> Account section.

Once you have entered the API keys🗝️, you will see a list of stores in Foundation. There can be more than one store in the drop down based on the number of stores you have in ShipStation.
ShipStation provides a few options to receive order updates from ShipStation to Foundation. You may want to enable one or all of them based on your shipping method in ShipStation. It is safe to enable all of these webhooks if you are not sure what to enable.
To filter orders coming from ShipStation, use the Other filter and choose Source. Set the Source to “Equals to” and set the value to Foundation.
🎗️Important Reminders🎗️:
- You do not need to manually mark the order as shipped in Foundation.
- Once you print a shipping label in ShipStation, the shipping information (tracking number and fees) is automatically passed to Foundation. The order will be marked as shipped in Foundation, and the customer will be notified via email.
- The customer will also receive an invoice that includes the shipping fee. If the customer paid through "Instant Pay," Foundation will charge their payment method at this time.
